JOSEPH E. HOPKINS JR. UNION LEADERSHIP TRAINING FUND

Joe Hopkins was one of those members who really "got it."  He was an active member who stepped up as a shop steward and served as a chapter officer in the Central Chapter.  He loved supporting the cause on a picket line, at rallies, Labor-to-Labor walks and phone banks, often bringing his family out with him.  When Joe succumbed to cancer, we were all devastated.  His family, wanting to keep his union spirit alive, created the "Joseph E. Hopkins Jr. Union Leadership Training Fund" to cultivate and train future Local 194 union leaders.  MORE INFO.
